Here is a great idea from an Oprah show – an easy recipe for veggie wash. I own a bottle of some kind of liquid, purchased many moons ago, which I have used to soak grapes from time to time, but this sounds easier and a lot cheaper:
Veggie spray
1 c. water
1 c. white vinegar
1 T. baking soda
Grapefruit seed extract – 20 drops
Mix everything together, put in a spray bottle.
When you want to get rid of some of those pesky pesticides, spray your produce, leave 5-10 minutes and then rinse off!
