This is the title of a very inspirational book I read recently.
In the process of simplifying and organizing my house over the past months, I am sure I have thrown out much more than 50 things, but I am definitely seeing good results from this journey of letting go of stuff.
The more things I get rid of, the lighter and less stressed I feel and it really does get easier to get rid of more things.
And you can’t just get rid of multiples of items, such as ten pairs of holey socks. Ten pairs of holey socks count as ONE item. This means you have to go through the entire house, room by room and find at least a few things in each space to chuck.
The author also addresses emotional clutter and advises getting rid of, for instance, the need to have everyone like us.
