Healthy Chocolate Bark? Is it possible?
As it turns out, yes! This delicious concoction contains almonds and walnuts that have been soaked and then dehydrated. The chocolate is made from coconut oil, raw cacao and some agave nectar. The other ingredients are flaked coconut, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
I have also made chocolate with dates instead of the agave, but the texture is a little more grainy.
I think a combination of the two types of sweetener might be nice, so I will try that next. A lot of experimentation is in order – someone has to do it, might as well be me!
