I am pretty excited about my new system for washing hands in the kitchen. I recently purchased a foaming hand soap dispenser (this one came from Target) and filled it with one part Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap (I chose peppermint this time) and 5 parts of water – and, voila, I have a super economical and healthy way to clean my hands. Bonus – no more unsightly and goopy bars of soap sitting around.
I plan to have one of these at all the sinks in my house as soon as possible. Whole Foods Market sells a store brand (365) foaming soap as well, so another option is to purchase some of those and then refill the container with Dr. Bronner’s when your WFM brand is finished.
I really love Dr. Bronner’s since it is non-toxic and green. There are countless uses for this product, in fact they market it as an “18 in 1” soap that cleans just about anything. I have my eye on the Lavender scent next time I buy a bottle. That might be quite awhile in the future though as these large bottles last a long time!
